What apple varieties do you grow?

McIntosh, Empire and Red Delicious. We only sell what we grow.

Is there an admission charge to pick apples?

No, we do not have a per person admission charge for pick-your-owns.

How much do the apples cost?

Already picked apples purchased from our Road Side Honour Stand are $10 for a 5 pound bag. Please bring exact change for the stand and we appreciate your honouring the system! Pick-your-own apples are $25 for a 10 pound bag.

Are your apples organic?

No, our apples are not organic.

What are your Pick-Your-Own hours?

The Pick-Your-Own hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm during harvest. You can also make an appointment to pick apples during the week by emailing us at

What are your Roadside Honour Stand hours?

The Roadside Honour Stand is open from 8 AM - 7 PM or dusk, whichever comes first. The Roadside Honour Stand is open approximately from the beginning of September to the end of October. What is Cider Day and when is it happening in 2021?

Cider Day is one of our favourite days of the year at Apples of Glasgow. Our friends at Geissberger Farmhouse Cider bring their mobile juice press to Apples of Glasgow. We provide the apples and they press and package the cider. It's quite the spectacle and we invite everyone to come out, pick some apples, see the process, and taste some delicious fresh cider! Cider day is scheduled for Sunday, October 3, 2021.

May I bring my dog with me to pick apples?

As we are in the food industry, we cannot allow dogs on the property. We love dogs but suggest you leave them at home when you come to pick apples.

Is Apples of Glasgow available for parties?

We are not able to host parties, but can host small daytime gatherings. Please contact us at if you would like to explore having a small gathering or a portion of your party at Apples of Glasgow.

Is Apples of Glasgow available to rent for photography and filming locations?

Yes, Apples of Glasgow is available to rent for pictures, movie shoots, teleivision shoots, and commercial filming. Check out our Location Rentals tab for more details, or contact us at

Does Apples of Glasgow host trips for Brownies, Scouts and schools?

It depends on the size of your group! Please reach out to us at to discuss what is possible.

Does Apples of Glasgow have bathroom facilities?

We have a portable toilet with hand santizer.

Approximately when is harvest?

Harvest begins at the start of September and finishes at the end of October. This year, 2021, we estimate our Pick Your Own Apples and Roadside Honour Stand will open on Saturday, September 11. MacIntosh are available approximately early September until supplies last. Empire are available approximately mid September until supplies last. Red Delicious are available approximately early October until supplies last. These dates are an estimation and are subject to change.

What payment options are available at Apples of Glasgow?

Due to Covid 19, we highly encourage debit or credit card sales. However, cash will still be accepted.

What are your Covid 19 Protocols?

1. Please answer the following questions: a. Do you have a fever or are feverish? b. Do you have a cough? c. Have you traveled outside of Canada in the past 14 days? d. Have you been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid 19? If you have answered yes to any of the above questions, DO NOT visit Apples of Glasgow? 2. Appointments and prepayment for apple picking are highly encouraged. Please see our book online page on this website. Walk on customers will be allowed, if there is space available and contact information is given to Apples of Glasgow staff. Cash sales are discouraged and credit and debit card sales are preferable. 3. There is a new separate entrance so that we may have one way foot traffic through the orchard. You and your group will be assigned a row and you will proceed down that row, picking apples, and then make your way to the new seperate exit (the old entrance). 4. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer are available. 5. The roadside honour stand is now equipped with a touchless hand sanitizer and we encourage the use of the sanitizer before and/or after placing your money in the money box. We now have available the option to etransfer your payment for a generous 5lb bag of apples ($10). Please send to 6. The use of a non-medical mask is recommended where physical distancing is not possible or difficult to maintain. 7. Maintain physical distancing - keep 2 metres (6ft) away from others. There will be lines in the apple orchard to help you. Do not gather in groups outside of your own group. 8. Public health forbids the tasting or sampling of apples in the apple orchard. Apple Cider samples will not be available.
